One of the best known serial killers of all time was indeed a member of the Church. In late 1974, Bundy moved from Seattle to Salt Lake City. He moved to Utah to study law and ended up converting to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (those missionaries must be proud). He later converted to Hinduism while on death row.
