Danny Ainge played sports at BYU. In 1977 he was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays. Never getting great numbers in baseball, he was chosen by the Boston Celtics in the 1981 draft. The Celtics bought out his contract with the Blue Jays and Danny went on to become a great basketball player for the Boston Celtics.
